Dan Levitt, MSc., CHE is the Executive Director, Tabor Village where he shepherds the enhancement of social, spiritual and care needs for nearly 300 seniors, inspiring a team of over 400 employees and volunteers with a commitment to continuously improving quality of life. Dan is an Adjunct Professor in Gerontology teaching Long Term Care Administration at Simon Fraser University, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia School of Nursing, he is also a Board Member, Alzheimer Society of B.C. and a Board Member of Global Aging Network.

His adventure exploits have taken him from Africa’s highest peak Mt. Kilimanjaro to the Caribbean Sea’s Planacar Reef, from canoeing across the Yukon to racing the Six World Major Marathons: Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, New York, and Tokyo. Dan has appeared on television and radio as well as authoring many articles in newspapers and professional journals. His insights on health care and seniors care leadership are sought after at events across Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
