Kelly Yee, founder of Avatara Yoga, holds an MSc, BCom and, is a certified Yoga Instructor with specialized training from Duke Integrative Medicine in yoga for aging and those living with ailments, such as cancer and chronic pain. Her teaching experience includes adult and seniors’ classes, kid’s wellness, one-on-one therapy, specialized workshops, online and, public speaking. Practicing Yoga inspired her to research the health effects of the practice, to apply traditional yoga with evidence-based knowledge in her teachings. Her life-long goal is to advocate for learning and healthy aging.
